Shopping Cart by Plan Toys
Cow & Lizard is sponsoring this cute Shopping Cart by Plan Toys. It comes with a handle bar which can be adjusted to fit the children’s height. There is a stopper at the back to prevent it from turning over. It encourages children to role play different characters and help develop their strength, leg muscles, eye-hand coordination while maneuvering it around.
Role-playing different characters such as shopkeepers and customers helps children to learn about shopping, make decisions wisely while spending and basic calculation skill. The cart can also help develop their balance, strength, leg muscles, eye-hand coordination while maneuvering it around. To encourage imagination and communication skills, parents can ask questions such as “What should we buy? How much does this cost?”.
Wooden Fruits & Vegetables
We also have these cute wooden fruits and vegetables, which have velcro between the halves. Kiddos can use them with the wooden knife to pretend cutting the fruit. Each are approximately 2″.Available are orange, lemon, kiwi, strawberry and apple. The vegetables choices are tomato, mushroom, shallot, yellow bell pepper and cucumber. The wooden knife measures 1″ x 4.2″.

My son loves to grocery shop… Trader Joe’s is our favorite. He loves to play with his wooden kitchen & make soups/salads.
My kids actually love to grocery shop. They also like to play shop, but real shopping is always preferred.

Both of my kids love playing grocery store shopping and they like grocery shopping with me also! My kiddos have a toy cash register that they use to scan my groceries at home, and they have a play kitchen to cook also:) We don’t have a shopping cart so this would be a wonderful addition!
