One of the pedi nurses helped me by carrying the baby to my car for me and gave me the number to a much more affordable PT place.

He told me that God told him to give it to me because i would know how to use it, and sure enough I did. We had to get my husband 3 hrs away for a knee surgery later that week which I was struggling financially to do, but this gentleman had no way of knowing that. GOD IS GOOD!!!

  48. Courtnay says:

When I was traveling to see my mom a few years ago, I took the greyhound. I didn’t have a lot of money for expenses but had enough money to get there, and a little for a small breakfast the next morning. (we had an family emergency, and I ate before I got on the bus.) But with my itinerary I would be sleeping on the bus that night and getting to my mom in the latter part of the morning. (Got on the bus at 3pm, and get to her at 10:30AM) not bad. But the first bus I was on was late, and didn’t call to say he had transfers so my connecting bus left. Me and another lady were left there for the next bus. She was fine, she waited only an hour. But I had to wait 5 hours with little money. And that left my arrival to 3pm the next day. I had enough money to get a sandwich, at the closest restaurant if I was lucky. The lady offered me to come stay the night at her house, but with recent incidents I respectfully declined for both our safety’s. Before she left, she came and wished me luck, took my hand and slipped me $20.00. I was speechless and left with tears. I had never received that kindness from someone I just met, and I will never forget it.

When my daughter was an infant and my son a toddler, my car ran out of gas but I was able to drift to the shoulder of the road. I didn’t have a phone with me, nor any cash on me…just my debit card. A man stopped and asked if he could help and I explained I thought I had enough gas to make it to the gas station but ran out of gas. He left and was back shortly with gas. I asked for his name, address and number so I could return the money for the gas and his trouble and he wouldn’t hear of it…just asked that I help someone in return. He was such a kind person!
