Hoover WindTunnel Bagless Upright Review

The day when my new Hoover WindTunnel vacuum came I was so excited! My first thought was that it was “little” at only 12.4 pounds. I am use to big heavy vacuum cleaners. So, I started to have doubts. I have three big dogs that shed dog hair continuously. I also live on a dirt road which means dust and sand are a big problem here. Needless to say, we really give a vacuum cleaner a workout.

I continued on putting it together, which was really simple. Then I gave it a try. Wow at the suction! It was totally awesome! Obviously, I have the usual dog hair and sand that gets tracked in, but compared to my old vacuum this was truly amazing! I didn’t realize how much dirt and hair was being left behind with my old one.

Out of curiosity, I got my old vacuum out and vacuumed a path in my living room. Then, I took the Hoover WindTunnel and went back over the same exact spot. I am just in total awe at how much was being left behind with the old one! The proof was right there!

The first time I vacuumed my whole house, I did have to empty the canister twice. Since then, I can do the whole house and then empty it. It is really easy to empty with the button on the bottom of the canister. Just press and the dirt and hair falls out. I love the fact there are no bags to buy! Next, I have to tell you about this totally cool feature!

The hepa filter, which I love for my allergies, is totally rinsable under running water! How cool is that? That means no replacements!

There is just so much to love about the Hoover WindTunnel. Besides the above, I love that it will recline all the way down to the floor so you can get under furniture. No more moving the furniture to vacuum under it! I also like the extension wand that allows you to reach those hard to reach places. It has a 3-in-1 combination tool on board for all those other jobs. Last, but not least, with just a touch of a button you can turn the beater brush off. This makes a smooth transition from carpet to hardwood or linoleum without missing a beat!

Overall, I am totally impressed with this vacuum cleaner. There is something quite satisfying about seeing all that dirt and hair in the cup and knowing your house is truly clean. I would highly recommend the Hoover Windtunnel Air Bagless Upright to anyone!
